Footage I shot in South Africa in 2009. It's shot on Sony Z1 in Ambhibico housing. I used both scuba diving, and free diving (breath hold diving) to get the footage.

Reduced Sardine biomass has led to Bryde's whales adapting there hunting technique, this was possibly the first time Bryde's whales have been filmed 'bubble netting' sardine (the technique used by dolphins). Ganets were filmed diving to 25m!

Low light, turbidity, and sardine scales, were possibly to much for the Z1 to really cope with!
